It is unlawful for any person or persons to haul, move, travel or drive, or to have hauled, moved, traveled or driven, upon and over any public road in Amador County, any wagon loaded with ten thousand pounds or over of weight or freight of any kind, without having tires at least five inches broad on and upon the wheels of said wagon.

It is unlawful for any person or persons to haul, move, travel or drive, or have hauled, moved, traveled or driven, upon and over any public road in Amador County, any wagon loaded with eight thousand pounds and under ten thousand pounds of weight or freight of any kind, without having tires at least four and one-half inches broad upon the wheels of said wagon.

It is unlawful for any person or persons to haul, travel, move or drive, or have hauled, moved, traveled or driven, upon or over any public road in Amador County, any wagon loaded with four thousand pounds and under six thousand pounds weight or freight of any kind, without having tires at least three inches broad upon the wheels of said wagon.

It is unlawful for any person or persons to haul, travel, move or drive, or have hauled, traveled, moved or driven, upon or over any public road in Amador County, any wagon loaded with three thousand pounds and under four thousand pounds weight or freight of any kind, without tires at least two and one-half inches broad upon the wheels of said wagon.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of Section 10.28.060 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than fifty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

It is unlawful for any person to operate, drive or move any tractor equipped with a self-laying track drive for tractors of the so-called Fordson type, or tractor whose wheels are equipped with grousers or teeth or other devices protruding beyond the surface of said wheels, upon any county road or highway in Amador County, which road or highway has been treated or improved with any form of oil or asphalt or other type of permanent surfacing, unless said tractor is equipped with street-plates, or its grousers, teeth or other protruding devices are first removed.

It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate upon any street, road or highway in the county, any vehicle, tractor or implement, the wheels or tracks of which are not so protected or covered as to prevent damage or injury to said streets, roads or highways.
