This chapter is adopted pursuant to the provisions of Sections 201 of the Municipalities Planning Code of Pennsylvania, as amended (53 P.S. § 10201).

The Township of Fermanagh Planning Commission is hereby abolished.
Hereafter all powers and duties delegated to the Township of Fermanagh Planning Commission either by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and/or the Township of Fermanagh shall be exercised by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Fermanagh.
All inconsistent sections of any prior ordinances and/or zoning maps are repealed hereby and all other zoning ordinances and zoning maps not inconsistent herewith are ratified, confirmed and are to remain in existence.
This chapter shall take effect five days after enactment hereof.
