That certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk/treasurer being marked and designated as an "International Energy Conservation Code, Commercial," and "International Energy Conservation Code, Residential," and as published by the International Code Council and as amended by Chapters 51-11C and 51-11R WAC, is hereby adopted.

Whenever the building official denies a permit applied for under the International Energy Conservation Code, Commercial and/or Residential, or if the applicant claims that the provisions of the International Energy Conservation Code, Commercial and/or Residential were not applied appropriately, the applicant may appeal the decision to the hearing examiner as provided in Chapter 18.14 YMC.
