It is the intent of the City to provide a real property tax extension to persons who are deployed by the military; meaning a person who has been ordered to active military duty, other than training. The extension allows for payment of property taxes, without interest for 90 days after their deployment has ended. Military persons would be required to show their deployment orders to support this extension as set forth in Real Property Tax Law § 925- d.
