Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes § 7-313e, the Town of Wallingford designates the following committee to determine whether an employee died in the line of duty, as defined in § 7-313e:
A. 
Fire Chief.
B. 
Police Chief.
C. 
Human Resources Director, or their designee.
In those circumstances where the determination, under § 7-313e, must be made, the Committee shall make the determination by majority vote. The Committee may request information needed to make the determination from the department or an applicant.
