Borough of Old Tappan, NJ Chapter 300 Veteran's Banner Program

§ 300-1 Requirements.

The requirements for participation in the Veterans Banner Program are:

A. The applicant must be a resident of the Borough of Old Tappan for a minimum of 10 years at the time of the application.

B. The veteran must be retired or honorably discharged.

C. The applicant must submit a copy of the veteran's DD214 with the application.

§ 300-2 Review of application.

All applications shall be reviewed by the Old Tappan Veterans Committee to confirm eligibility.

§ 300-3 Installation and display.

Banners will be installed by the Borough and shall be displayed from Memorial Day through Veteran's Day.

§ 300-4 Cost.

The cost of participation in the program shall be $175 for a five-year period.
