The Department of Public Works is established, the supervisor of such department being the Director of Public Works.

The Director of Public Works shall be responsible for the following:
A. 
All duties prescribed in this section or in California general law.
B. 
The care and maintenance of public facilities.
C. 
Such other duties in connection with public works of all kinds as the City Administrator may from time to time direct.
