A. 
The flood damage prevention ordinance, Chapter 14.10 SBMC, as it is now written or will later be amended, is hereby adopted by reference as part of this title.
B. 
Chapter 14.10 SBMC sets up specific standards for structures located in areas subject to the 100-year flood and specific provisions for substantial improvements to or construction of new structures in areas subject to the 100-year flood.

A. 
Persons proposing development within flood areas must comply with the requirements of the most recent update of Chapter 14.10 SBMC, in addition to the regulations of this title.
B. 
When work in or near water is proposed, a JARPA (joint aquatic resource permits application) form must be submitted.
