As used in this chapter, the following mean:
(A) "Building code"
means a code of the city adopted by ordinance which regulates the construction of buildings and structures within the city.
(B) "Swimming pool"
means a private residential swimming pool with a depth of 24 inches or more, permanently situated on private property, the use of which is limited to swimming or bathing by family members or invited guests; and a public swimming pool which contains a water depth of 24 inches or more, with a surface area of 1,800 square feet or more, which is used or intended to be used for swimming or recreational bathing by the public; and a semi-public pool which contains a water depth of 24 inches or more and with a surface area of 1,800 square feet or more which is used or intended to be used for swimming or recreational bathing and to which two or more families have access.
