Article III Ratification Of Constitution And Bylaws

This constitution and bylaws shall be in full force and effect when two-thirds (2/3) of the eligible voters who vote in an election called for that purpose by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs ratify the constitution and bylaws provided a majority of the eligible voters cast their vote, and after the ratified constitution and bylaws is approved by the Commissioner of Indian Affair. Upon the effective date of the constitution and bylaws, the original constitution and bylaws adopted on July 15, 1939, and approved by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs on August 22, 1939, is hereby expressly revoked.
