The Historic Preservation Commission shall consist of five members, all of whom must be residents of the City of Livermore. Commission members shall be appointed from among professionals in the disciplines of architecture, history, planning, archaeology, or other historic preservation-related disciplines to the extent that such professionals are available in the community. Commission membership shall also include lay members who have demonstrated special interest, competence, experience or knowledge in historic preservation.
