The Relocation Appeals Board for Livermore Successor Agency shall consist of five members. The members shall be comprised of one member from each of the following commissions or committees: Historic Preservation Commission, Beautification Committee and the Human Services Commission; and two members from the Planning Commission. The mayor shall select the member from each commission or committee and the composition of the board shall be approved by the City Council.

The Relocation Appeals Board for Livermore Successor Agency shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
A. 
Promptly hear all complaints relating to relocation brought by displaced persons (residents and businesses) within Livermore successor agency project areas and to determine if the Livermore successor agency has complied with the provisions of the community redevelopment law, specifically Health and Safety Code Sections 33300 et seq. and federal regulations.
B. 
Following a public hearing on the appeal, the board shall transmit its findings and recommendations to the Livermore successor agency, which shall confirm, condition or reject the recommendations of the board.
