Pursuant to the provisions of Title 5, Division 1, Part 2, Chapter 2, Article 1, Sections 51500 to and including 51507 of the Government Code of the state, the City Council does hereby elect that the duties of assessing property and the collection of real property and unsecured personal property taxes in the City be, and the same are hereby transferred to, the assessor and tax collector of the county of Alameda, the county in which the City is situated.
