The purpose of the Library Director position is to manage, supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of the library and its associated facilities. This position reports to the Town Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordination of library collection management, programming, development and implementation of department policies, purchasing, maintaining records and files, supervising staff, directing activities, preparing budgets, scheduling building maintenance and repairs and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Town Manager.

The purpose of the Assistant Library Director position is to assist the Director in supervising the day-to-day operations of the library and oversee the circulation of materials in the library ensuring that all patrons' visits are valuable. This position reports to the Library Director. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordination of library collection management, implementation of department policies, purchasing, assisting in the selection of collection materials, supervising staff, directing activities, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Library Director.
The purpose of the Youth Services Supervisor position is to supervise and administer library programs and collections that foster an atmosphere for children and young adults that lead to a lifetime of reading. This position reports to the Library Director. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining and evaluating the childrens' and young adults' collections, planning, supervising and conducting programs, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Library Director or Assistant Library Director.
The purpose of the Cataloguing Assistant position is to prepare and organize materials in the library making them easily accessible to patrons and staff. This position reports to the Library Director or Assistant Library Director. Duties include, but are not limited to: cataloguing and processing library materials, assisting in the selection of collection materials, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Library Director or Assistant Library Director.
The purpose of the Circulation Services Supervisor position is to facilitate the circulation of materials in the library. This position reports to the Library Director. Duties include, but are not limited to: staffing the circulation desk, assisting patrons with materials access, assisting with maintaining a vibrant library website, assisting in the selection of collection materials, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Library Director or Assistant Library Director.
The purpose of the Library Services Assistant position is to assist in the delivery of library services to patrons, assist staff, and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Library Director or Assistant Library Director.
