The planning director shall:
A. 
Administer the planning department and assume responsibility for all planning, platting, permitting and related land use matters within the city;
B. 
Act as staff for the planning commission and provide necessary reports, research, training or other information which may be required;
C. 
Act as liaison to the council concerning any and all matters related to the planning, growth, and development of the city;
D. 
Review, recommend revisions to the planning commission, and enforce the planning, platting, permitting, building and land use regulations contained in the Dillingham Municipal Code;
E. 
Manage those professional service agreements pertaining to comprehensive planning, surveying, parks and recreation, and economic development; and
F. 
Perform such other duties as are delegated to him by the city manager.
