"Substandard lot"
is a lot that has less than the area required for the use in the land use district in which it is located, but that is a legal nonconforming lot because it was created under a prior law that required less than the area now required. The term includes a lot meeting this definition for which a certificate of compliance has been issued under Government Code Section 66499.35.
(Ord. 979 § 2 (Exh. A), 1990; Ord. 07-1284 § 3 (Exh. F), 2007)
