No person shall discharge any musket, rifle, pistol, shotgun, or other firearm within the bounds of the City of Rio Dell, California, without permission from the Chief of Police.

No person shall fire or discharge or cause to be fired or discharged within the bounds of the City of Rio Dell, California, any Chinese explosives or explosive preparation of a similar nature loaded or charged with gunpowder or any other explosive material.

Any person, firm, or corporation, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating or causing the violation of any part of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not to exceed six months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
