When any new development in the RM-18 zone creates an incompatible land use, there shall be a minimum eight-foot solid masonry wall and a landscaped area provided along the entire lot(s) adjacent to the incompatible use created by the new development, as approved by the city council upon recommendation of the planning commission. The landscaped area required in this section shall be a minimum seven feet in depth, as measured from the centerline of the wall. These same requirements shall apply to the lots of any development adjacent to collector or arterial streets as shown on the transportation element of the Riverton City general plan.
