The use of any steel-jawed leghold trap, padded or otherwise, to capture any game mammal, fur-bearing mammal, nongame mammal, protected mammal, or any dog or cat is prohibited within the jurisdictional limits of the City of Pleasant Hill.

For purposes of this article, furbearing mammals, game mammals, nongame mammals, and protected mammals are those mammals so defined by California Fish and Game Code section 3003.1.
