Except as otherwise specifically provided herein, the provisions of §106.50, Wis. Stats., are hereby adopted by reference. Any future amendments, revisions, or modifications of said statute are incorporated herein and are intended to be made part of this chapter.

The Village Clerk's office, with the assistance of the Zoning Administrator, shall administer the provisions of this chapter. The Village Clerk's office may receive and investigate a complaint alleging a violation of this chapter and the Clerk shall have authority to obtain the assistance of the Village Attorney or law enforcement agency to further investigate any complaints the Village Clerk's office receives. The Village Clerk's office and its designee shall have the authority contained in §106.50(6), Wis. Stats.

The Village Board shall conduct any hearing required for any alleged violation. The Village Board shall have the authority to render a decision after conducting a hearing to determine whether a violation of this Code has occurred. Any person aggrieved by a decision of the Village Board shall have the right to appeal said decision to the Shawano County Circuit Court, with said appeal to be filed within 60 days of the rendering of the written decision of the Village Board.
The officials and employees of the Village of Wittenberg shall assist in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination in housing within the Village by implementing the authority and enforcement procedures set forth in §106.50, Wis. Stats., as amended.
The Village of Wittenberg Clerk shall maintain forms for complaints to be filed under §106.50, Wis. Stats., as amended, and shall assist any person alleging a violation thereof in the Village to file a complaint thereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division, for enforcement of §106.50, Wis. Stats., as amended.
