This parking restriction does not apply to those vehicles with properly displayed permits issued by the Whatcom County department of public works to users of the Lummi Island Ferry during times that the Lummi Island Ferry is out of service and temporary parking is required, except that the no parking provisions within this section shall remain in force for any vehicle not displaying the appropriate permit.

A no parking zone is established at the second class tideland in front of and adjacent to and abutting upon Government Lot 1, Township 40, Range 1 East, Section 30, and shall be closed from 10:00 p.m. until 6:59 a.m. daily. During the time of closure there shall be no parking of vehicles.

During the time that this area is closed anyone who is found the area shall be ordered to disburse and if they fail to leave shall be subject to a citation.

Signs shall be posted stating the restricting.
