The purpose of this chapter is to establish the hours during which alcohol can legally be sold in the Denali Borough.
(Ord. 14-08 § 2)
A person shall not sell, offer for sale, give, furnish, deliver, or consume an alcoholic beverage on premises licensed under AS 04.11.080 between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. every day in the calendar year.
(Ord. 14-08 § 2)
Licensed premises will be allowed a 60-minute "safety hour" starting at 3:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 a.m. after which no customers and patrons shall remain on the premises. No alcoholic beverages may be sold, offered for sale, given, furnished, delivered, dispensed or consumed during the safety hour and clearing period.
(Ord. 14-08 § 2)
Except for the clearing period set forth in DBC § 7.05.040, a licensee, an agent, or employee may not permit a person to enter or remain on the licensed premises between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. every day in the calendar year. This section does not apply to common carriers or to an employee of the licensee who is on the premises to prepare for the next day's business. A person may enter or remain on the premises of a bona fide restaurant or eating place licensed under this title to consume food or nonalcoholic beverages.
