Every person maintaining a poultry slaughterhouse shall obtain a label, device, tag, marking, or marker approved by the city or county health officer and bearing the identification number assigned by the city or county health officer to the slaughterhouse in which such slaughtering is being conducted. Such label, device, tag, marking, or marker, shall bear the words, "Los Angeles County Health Department," or the lettering "L.A. Co. H.D.," and the number assigned by the city or county health officer to such slaughterhouse. A person shall not use such label, device, tag, marking or marker to indicate or place on or near such a label, device, tag, marking, or marker any words indicating that the poultry, or the slaughtering thereof, was approved or inspected by the city or county health officer or by any other authority.
