(a)
Any person seeking to obtain a spay or neuter voucher from the City of Cuero shall: (1) be a resident of the City of Cuero; and (2) have a utility account with the City of Cuero.
(b)
A resident is allowed only one voucher every two years.
(c)
The dog or cat to be spayed or neutered must be at least six months old.
(d)
A voucher issued by the City will only cover the cost of the spay or neuter of the dog or cat and will not cover the cost for anesthesia, antibiotics or injections.
(e)
The voucher must be used within four months of the issue date.
(f)
The voucher value is only for the amount stated on the voucher.
(g)
Any costs over and above the amount of the state amount on the voucher is the sole responsibility of the resident.
(h)
The form of the voucher to be issued by the City of Cuero is attached to Ordinance 2024-35 as exhibit "A," and may be updated and revised by the City Manager as needed without City Council approval.
