A fund is established to be known as the city street fund, which is created pursuant to RCW 47.24.040.

All monies received in connection with the state motor vehicle tax imposed and apportioned pursuant to Chapter 46.68 RCW will be receipted into this fund.

Monies in the arterial street fund shall only be expended for the purposes specified in RCW 47.24.040, as now enacted or subsequently amended.
