No person shall deposit, place, or leave any foodstuff of any kind or nature on public property within 1,000 yards of the shoreline of Lake Ballinger save and except in a receptacle provided by the City for that purpose.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to any public officer or employee in the performance of his or her duties.

Violation of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine up to $300.00.
