An emergency medical service district is established within all now or hereafter incorporated areas lying within the town, pursuant to RCW 35.21.766, for the purpose of providing emergency medical service and a system of ambulance service for all residents within the proposed emergency medical service district.

The boundaries of the emergency medical service district shall be coextensive with the boundaries of the incorporated areas within the town, including any areas hereafter incorporated.

The town shall enter into an interlocal agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW with the county of Okanogan for the provision of emergency medical services within all of the Methow Valley.
