A. 
Helicopter Landing/Take Off. No helicopter shall land or take off from any body of water or land area within the town of Winthrop except:
1. 
Helicopters used to transport injured persons, evacuees or medical personnel in the event of an accident, disaster or emergency.
2. 
Helicopters approved by the Winthrop town council during special events.

Violations of this chapter constitute a civil infraction with a penalty of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). The infraction may be contested or mitigated pursuant to the infraction rules for courts of limited jurisdiction before the Winthrop municipal court.
