It is unlawful to break, damage, destroy, deface, alter or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment which is part of the sewer system of the town, or without authority from the town, to break, damage, destroy or deface any public walk, curb or pavement, or to make openings or excavations in a public area for the purpose of connection to any public sewer.
