A.
The California Plumbing Code, 2025 Edition, including Appendices, except as may be amended by this Chapter, are hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City.
B.
One copy of the California Plumbing Code shall be at all times maintained in the office of the Building Official for use and examination by the public.
C.
The purpose of this Plumbing Code is to prescribe regulations for the protection of the public health and safety and to establish minimum regulations for the installation, alteration, or repair of plumbing and drainage systems, and the inspection thereof.
