A. 
Purpose. This ordinance is created under and by virtue of sec. 66.0139, Wis. Stats.
B. 
Non-auction sale. In lieu of public auction of abandoned property, as defined in sec. 66.0139(2), Wis. Stats., the town may dispose of such property by private sale, by sale to dealers specializing in buying and selling property of the nature of the abandoned property, by rummage sale, by donation or disposal of the property if it is deemed to have no or nominal monetary value, or by any other reasonable means the town may, from time to time, determine.
C. 
Compliance with state statutes. In all other respects, the town shall comply with the procedures of sec. 66.0137, Wis. Stats., in the disposal of abandoned property.
