Pursuant to the provisions of RCW 35.21.180, the “Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Health for Food Service, WAC 246-215,” (a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk) are hereby adopted by reference as and for the food service code of the City of Tacoma as if fully set forth herein, with the exception of WAC 246-215-200(2)(c) and WAC 246-215-300, which are hereby deleted.

The annual fees for permits and renewal of permits, which are payable to the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department prior to issuance of a permit or renewal of a permit, shall be in accordance with the Health Department Fee Schedule approved by ordinance of the City of Tacoma.

Any person violating or refusing or neglecting to comply with this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $500.00 or imprisonment in the Pierce County Jail for a term not exceeding six months, or may be both so fined and imprisoned.
