A. 
Bona fide, charitable, or nonprofit organizations may operate or conduct social card games pursuant to RCW 9.46.0311.
B. 
Social card games licensed by the Washington State Gambling Commission for operation in the City of Tacoma on or before the effective date of this ordinance may be conducted and operated in accordance with the provisions of RCW 9.46, and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder, until 2:00 a.m. January 1, 2006.

Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined a sum not to exceed $1,000, or imprisonment in the Pierce County Jail for a period not to exceed six months, or both such fine and imprisonment.
