For the purpose of this Chapter the words and phrases of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Chapter 720, Sections 2-1 through 2-11; 2-13 through 2-22, as approved, adopted and amended are hereby adopted by the County, as fully as if set out herein.
The Illinois Criminal Code, Illinois Compiled Statutes, Chapter 720, as passed, approved and amended by the Illinois General Assembly is hereby adopted by the County; the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the County; provided, however, the penalties as provided by this Code shall apply.
