Any person who refuses to assist any peace officer in the discharge of his duties, or who, by any means, aids or assists any prisoner or any person in custody upon charge of the violation of any ordinance of the city, in his endeavor to escape from prison or custody, whether such escape be effected or not, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

It is unlawful for any person confined in the city jail or other place of confinement by the city, or working upon the streets or other public places of the city in pursuance of any judgment, or otherwise held in legal custody by authority of the city, to escape or attempt to escape from any such jail, prison, or custody.

Any person who introduces or takes into the jail or other prison or delivers to any prisoner confined therein any wine or spirituous or malt liquor, except by permission of the chief of police, or upon the prescription of a practicing physician, or who furnishes any such prisoner any weapon or object which can be effectively used as a weapon or to effect his escape shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

A person commits the crime of resisting or interfering with arrest if, knowing that a peace officer is making an arrest, with the intent of preventing the officer from making the arrest the person resists personal arrest or interferes with the arrest of another by:
(a) 
Force;
(b) 
Committing any degree of criminal mischief as that offense is defined in AS 11.46.480 through 11.46.495; or
(c) 
Any means that creates a substantial risk of physical injury to any person.

It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, or any agent or employee thereof, knowingly to make any material misrepresentation to any officer, employee, or agency of the city government in any official application to, or official dealing or negotiation with, such officer, employee, or agency; or to commit perjury before any tribunal or officer of the city.

It is unlawful for any person to impersonate any officer or employee of the city, falsely represent himself to be an officer or employee of the city, exercise or attempt to exercise any of the duties, functions, or powers of an officer or employee of the city without being duly authorized to do so. Conduct specifically precluded by this section includes, but is not limited to, wearing or carrying uniforms, other official apparel, badges, and related equipment which have been adopted by the police officers of the city as their official equipment.

It is unlawful for any person knowingly to turn in a false fire alarm, or in any manner to deceive or attempt to deceive the fire department or any officer or employee thereof with reference to any fire alarm or reported fire, or knowingly to cause the fire department or its officers or employees to make a useless run.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, or performs any unlawful act as defined in this chapter, or fails to perform any act required by this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
