The purpose of the CP district is to provide areas for low density residential development and professional office buildings and clinics.

The following are the only permitted uses in CP (commercial, professional) districts:
A. 
Medical and dental laboratories, offices, and clinics.
B. 
Attorney's offices.
C. 
Accountant's offices.
D. 
Counseling and psychiatric clinics and facilities.
E. 
Optometrist's offices and clinics.
F. 
One single-family dwelling per lot.
G. 
Accessory uses and structures related to a permitted use.
H. 
Accessory apartments (Section 18.60.140).
I. 
Family day care homes (Section 18.60.190).

Development standards for CP (commercial, professional) districts are as follows:
A. 
Minimum lot area: ten thousand square feet.
B. 
Minimum lot width: seventy-five feet.
C. 
Minimum setbacks: street frontage: twenty feet; side: five feet on one side and ten feet on the other or garage side; rear: twenty feet.
D. 
Maximum building height: thirty-five feet. Structures higher than thirty-five feet require approval of a conditional use permit in accordance with Section 18.75.050.
E. 
Off-Street Parking. Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 18.63. All off-street parking lots shall have sight-obscuring (not less than six feet except as limited by Section 18.69.050) fencing or landscaping around the perimeter of the parking lot where it is adjacent to a residential use and except on the street side of the parking lot.
