To comply with the requirements of the Los Angeles County Transportation Committee, there is hereby established in the City Treasury a special fund to be known as the "Proposition A Transportation Fund."

All moneys received by the City from the Los Angeles County Transportation Committee pursuant to the guidelines established by the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission including any interest earned from the investment of Proposition A revenues shall be deposited into said fund.

Expenditures from this fund shall be made only for the purpose authorized by the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission. Before any expenditures are made from this fund, all such expenditures shall first be budgeted in the manner prescribed by ordinance.
