The TR (traditional residential) district is intended to be used as follows:
(A) 
Use Type and Intensity.
(1) 
Single-family detached homes.
(2) 
Small to medium sized homes.
(3) 
Small to medium sized lots.
(B) 
Application of District.
(1) 
Existing "old town" residential neighborhoods.
(2) 
Infill development.
(3) 
District areas can range from small pockets (a couple of lots) to large areas (entire neighborhoods or blocks) but should be contiguous to the existing city street grid.
(C) 
Development Standards.
(1) 
Protect, maintain, and promote the "old residential" character in Angola.
(2) 
Promote limited impact development in concert with an urban environment.
(D) 
Appropriate adjacent districts: PR, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, TR, UV, IS, NC, and DC.
(E) 
Plan Commission.
(1) 
Should use this district primarily for existing development.
(2) 
Recognize that the smaller the lots, the higher the quality of design must be.

Board of Zoning Appeals.

Utilize the design features of surrounding properties to determine commitments and approvals.
