The LR (lake residential) district is intended to be used as follows:
(A) 
Use Type and Intensity.
(1) 
Single-family detached homes.
(2) 
Lake lots of various size.
(B) 
Application of District.
(1) 
Existing and new development.
(2) 
Areas within the City of Angola and within the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
(3) 
District area located along lake shores.
(C) 
Development Standards.
(1) 
Recognize that more stringent development standards are necessary to protect the environmental and unique features of the lake.
(D) 
Appropriate adjacent districts: PR, AG, ER, R1, R2, R3, R4, LR, IS, and NC.
(E) 
Plan Commission.
(1) 
Recognize that the smaller the lots and the closer two structures are to one another, the higher the quality of design must be.
(F) 
Board of Zoning Appeals.
(1) 
Allow special exception uses only when it clearly benefits the residential nature of the district.
