There is established the position known as the finance director or finance director/assistant city administrator, to be filled by the appointment of the mayor.

The finance director is hereby designated as the auditing officer for the city of North Bend as required by Chapter 42.24 RCW.

All references in the North Bend Municipal Code to "finance manager" shall hereafter be amended to read "finance director."
