Article IIA Recall

§ 2.80.055 Recall.

An official who is elected or appointed to an elective municipal office may be recalled by the voters after the official has served the first 120 days of the term of which he is elected or appointed.

§ 2.80.056 Grounds for recall.

Grounds for recall are misconduct in office, incompetence, or failure to perform prescribed duties.

§ 2.80.057 Procedures for recall.

Procedures for recall by voters of the municipality shall be as prescribed in AS 29.26.260 through 29.26.350, which are adopted and incorporated herein by reference.
