Fees for permits issued under the UPC shall be calculated as defined in SGC § 19.10.020. Separate plumbing permits and fees are not required for work authorized by a valid building permit.

UPC Table 422.1 – Minimum Plumbing Facilities, is deleted and the 1997 Uniform Building Code Appendix, Chapter 29, Table A-29-A – Minimum Plumbing Fixtures, is adopted as the minimum plumbing fixture requirements for new construction.

“The Uniform Plumbing Code,” adopted in SGC § 19.35.010, replaces all references to the “International Plumbing Code” and/or “International Fuel Gas Code” in any of the adopted building codes.
