Fees for permits issued under the IMC shall be calculated as defined in SGC § 19.10.020. Separate mechanical permits and fees are not required for work authorized by a valid building permit.

The IMC is modified by including a new Section 313 – Prohibited Equipment, which reads:
The installation and use of open loop heat pumps connected to the municipal water system is prohibited.
a) No open loop heat pump installed after June 1, 1997 will be provided municipal water.
