Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation of this article for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked otherwise.
Parking shall be prohibited at all times in the following locations:

A.
Purpose. The purpose of this section is to promote public safety, maintain clear passage on Borough streets, and preserve the residential character of the community by restricting the parking of large and commercial-type vehicles on public streets within the Borough of Bonneauville.
B. OVERSIZED VEHICLE RESTRICTED VEHICLE
Definitions. For the purposes of this section, the following definitions shall apply:
Any vehicle, including any attached trailer, that exceeds 23 feet in length, eight feet in height, or eight feet in width.
Any motorhome, camper, recreational vehicle, box truck, tractor-trailer, or any vehicle designed or used primarily for commercial purposes.
C.
Prohibited parking.
(1)
No person shall park any oversized vehicle or restricted vehicle on any public street within the Borough of Bonneauville between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
(2)
Temporary parking for purposes of loading or unloading shall be permitted for a period not to exceed two hours during daytime hours.
D.
Penalty. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of $20 for each offense, together with costs of prosecution. Each night that a violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense
E.
Enforcement. This section shall be enforced by the Bonneauville Borough Police Department or any other law enforcement agency having jurisdiction within the Borough.
No person shall park a vehicle, or allow it to remain parked, for longer than the time indicated, in any of the following locations, at any time on the days and between the hours indicated:

The following are established as special purpose parking zones, and it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or to allow it to remain parked, in any such zone, except as specifically provided for that zone:

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a vehicle (other than a pedalcycle) on the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of any street, except that standing or parking for the purpose of loading or unloading persons or property shall be permitted on the following named streets on Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and for no longer than necessary for the loading or unloading.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 and costs.

A.
Purpose. The purpose of this section is to promote the safety and general welfare of the community and/or Borough of Bonneauville by regulating vehicular parking on public and certain private property within the Borough limits.
B.
Prohibited parking locations and conditions.
(1)
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
(2)
Within 25 feet of an intersection.
(3)
Within 30 feet of a stop sign.
(4)
Double parked, or beside a vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street.
(5)
In front of or blocking a driveway or garage.
(6)
On private property without the express consent of the property owner or occupant.
(7)
More than 12 inches from the curb when parked along a curb.
(8)
On a sidewalk.
(9)
With the engine running and the vehicle unattended.
(10)
Within 15 feet of the entrance to a firehouse.
(11)
In any street or alley in such a manner as to block, prevent, or interfere with the free passage of other vehicles.
(12)
Within any area reserved for a funeral, parade, or other officially designated special event.
(13)
A non-motorized vehicle (including trailers) parked on any street for more than 24 consecutive hours.
(14)
A garbage dumpster placed on any street for more than 24 consecutive hours without Borough approval.
(15)
Within an intersection.
(16)
On a crosswalk.
(17)
Within six feet of a mailbox, if such parking interferes with mail delivery.
(18)
Where temporary or permanent "No Parking'" signs have been lawfully posted.
(19)
Mechanically inoperable vehicles, unless lawfully stored in a permitted area.
(20)
Vehicles without a current registration.
(21)
Vehicles without a registration plate.
(22)
Vehicles without a current inspection sticker, as required by Pennsylvania law.
(23)
In a designated handicapped parking space without a proper handicap placard or license plate.
*For the purpose of this section, a "mechanically inoperable vehicle" is defined as any vehicle that is not in a condition to be lawfully operated on public streets due to missing or nonfunctional essential parts, including but not limited to the engine, transmission, wheels, tires, steering mechanism, or brakes.
C.
Enforcement and penalties.
(1)
The Bonneauville Borough Police Department or other designated enforcement officers are hereby authorized to issue citations and/or remove and impound vehicles in violation of this section.
(2)
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction:
(a)
Be subject to a fine of $50 for violations related to snow emergency or handicapped parking;
(b)
Be subject to a fine of $20 for all other violations.
(c)
In all cases, the offender shall also be liable for the costs of prosecution. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
(3)
Any vehicle that is in violation of this section and constitutes a traffic hazard or safety concern may be towed and impounded at the owner's expense.
E.
Effective date. This section shall take effect immediately upon adoption and proper publication as required by law.
