The LI light industrial district is intended to create, preserve and enhance areas containing a wide range of manufacturing, processing, wholesaling, distributing, storage, and similar activities, together with associated administrative and office uses, and is typically appropriate to areas providing a wide variety of sites with good highway access. Uses in this zone typically involve more truck traffic, noise, smell and dust than uses in other zones.
