If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional or invalid at law, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this chapter.

Those portions of Lewis County Ordinance Nos. 1064 and 1154 and any and all amendments thereto, expressly or impliedly in conflict with the ordinance codified in this chapter, are hereby repealed as of the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter.

The effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter shall be the seventh day of December, 2021.
