During the time period described in LMC §
11.45.010, within the area bounded by the easterly side of Kessler Boulevard, the northerly side of Washington Way, the westerly side of Nichols Boulevard and the southerly side of Louisiana Street, along 27th Avenue between Louisiana Street and Hemlock Street and along R.A. Long Boulevard, motor vehicles, including recreational vehicles as defined in WAC
296-150R-0020, may only be parked during the times and at the locations described in this section.
(1) Along the westerly side of Nichols Boulevard, between Hemlock Street and Louisiana Street, parking is prohibited.
(2) Along R.A. Long Boulevard, parallel to the northerly and southerly curbs except where indicated by yellow surface paint indicating that "no parking" is allowed, and except where there are city-maintained signs stating "no parking," parking is permitted only by motor vehicles displaying "vendor permits" issued in connection with a city-wide celebration; recreation vehicles and combination vehicles with attached trailers are prohibited.
(3) Along the easterly side of 27th Avenue between Louisiana Street and Lilac Street, and between Hemlock Street and Harding Street, except where indicated by yellow surface paint indicating that "no parking" is allowed, and except where there are city-maintained signs stating "no parking," parallel parking is permitted only by motor vehicles; recreational vehicles are prohibited.
(4) Along the easterly side of 27th Avenue between Lilac Street and Harding Street, except where indicated by yellow surface paint indicating that "no parking" is allowed, and except where there are city-maintained signs stating "no parking," angle-only parking is allowed only by motor vehicles; recreational vehicles are prohibited.
(5) Along the westerly side of 27th Avenue between Lilac Street and Harding Street, except where indicated by yellow surface paint indicating that "no parking" is allowed, and except where there are city-maintained signs stating "no parking," parallel parking only by recreational vehicles and combination vehicles with attached trailers displaying "vendor permits" issued in connection with a city-wide celebration is permitted; unattached motor vehicles not described as recreational vehicles are prohibited.
(6) Along the westerly side of Kessler Boulevard southerly of Hemlock Street for a distance of 75 feet, parking of emergency vehicles (fire, police and ambulance vehicles) only is permitted; all other vehicles are prohibited.
(7) Along the westerly side of Kessler Boulevard, commencing at a point 75 feet southerly of Hemlock Street and thence southerly for a distance of 100 feet, temporary parking for loading and unloading only is permitted; vehicles not engaged in loading or unloading are prohibited.
(8) Along the easterly side of Nichols Boulevard, between the crosswalks extended from Hemlock Street (a distance of approximately 123 feet), temporary parking for loading and unloading is permitted for a time period of 10 minutes per vehicle; vehicles not engaged in loading or unloading or vehicles that are parked in excess of 10 minutes are prohibited.
(9) Except as otherwise provided in this section, along the easterly side of Nichols Boulevard and the westerly side of Kessler Boulevard, vehicles may be parked only as provided in LMC §
11.45.040; all other vehicles are prohibited.
The penalty for a violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be as provided in LMC §
11.45.060.
