ORS 810.010 provides authority for the city of Rogue River, Oregon, to prohibit the operation of all vehicles of any class or kind of vehicles, impose limits as to any gross weight or any dimension of any vehicle, or combination of vehicles using streets within the jurisdiction of the city of Rogue River.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to use, drive or operate a commercial vehicle with an estimated gross weight of 12,000 pounds or more upon any street of the city of Rogue River, Oregon, except the following streets, which are hereby designated as Rogue River city truck routes: Classick Drive, Depot Street, Main Street, including North River Road, Pine Street, Foothills Boulevard, West Evans Road, and Wards Creek Road. The city council may designate other streets from time to time for bypass use during repair of streets.

Any motor vehicle, truck, trailer or other vehicle while being used for the specific purpose of picking up or discharging goods or material at any business establishment or residence located on other than the above named streets shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to park any vehicle weighing 12,000 or more pounds on any street in the city of Rogue River, Oregon, except designated areas of parking. Exceptions are vehicles used for the purpose of picking up or discharging goods at any business establishment or residence located in the city of Rogue River.

The public works department and police department are hereby authorized to cause notice of the truck routes to be posted, to carry into effect the purposes of this chapter.

Fees for parking of trucks in designated public areas in the city of Rogue River, Oregon, shall be set from time to time by the city council. Such parking fees shall be posted to the street fund to be used for maintenance of streets within the city.
