In order to more definitely determine the location and boundaries of the several blocks and streets thereof, an initial point shall be recognized henceforth as valid and binding for all future surveys, measurements, or estimates, and shall be known by the following description:
A sand stone 10 x 12 x 23 inches buried in the ground 18 inches beneath the surface in the east line of the Fox Donation land claim, 93.85 feet south, 14 degrees west of the northeast corner of the said Fox D.L.C., upon the top of which is marked with a cross "X" and the point at which the lines intersect shall be the initial point. |
From this initial point the south line of Water Street extends at a right angle to the east line of the Fox D.L.C., and bears north 76 degrees west.
