Odd numbers shall be given to buildings on the east and north sides of the streets, avenues and highways and even numbers to those on the west and south sides of streets, avenues, and highways. The first building on the north side of those streets running east and west in said city and west of Harrison street shall be numbered one and the first building on the south side of said streets shall be numbered two, and shall increase 100 numbers for each block. The first building east of Harrison Street on the north side of said streets shall be numbered one, and the first building on the south side of said streets shall be numbered two, and said numbers shall increase 100 numbers for each block.
The first building south of A Street on the east side of those streets running northerly and southerly shall be numbered one and shall increase 100 numbers for each block. The first building south of A Street on the west side of those streets running northerly and southerly shall be numbered two and shall increase 100 numbers for each block.
